Temperatures in Azerbaijan are expected to rise significantly, reaching up to 18 degrees Celsius on February 13, according to the latest weather forecast.

The National Hydrometeorological Service informed Operative Information Center-OMM that Baku and the Absheron Peninsula will experience changeable cloudy and primarily rainless conditions. However, a southwest wind is expected to strengthen periodically during the day. In the capital, the temperature will range from 2-5°C at night to 10-15°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will drop from 758 mm to 754 mm mercury column, while relative humidity will fluctuate between 70-80% at night and 50-60% during the day.

In the regions of Azerbaijan, the weather is projected to remain mostly dry, though fog may occur in certain areas. A moderate west wind will prevail across the provinces. Regional temperatures are forecasted at -1°C to +4°C at night and 13-18°C during the day. In the mountainous areas, temperatures will drop to 3-8°C below zero at night, rising to 5-10°C during the day. Authorities have warned that roads in some mountainous districts may become icy during the night and early morning hours.

The National Hydrometeorological Service, an agency under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, regularly monitors atmospheric conditions across the Republic of Azerbaijan to provide accurate forecasts for public safety and economic planning. Such temperature fluctuations in February are characteristic of the transitional weather patterns observed in the South Caucasus region, where maritime and continental air masses frequently interact.
