Azerbaijan's Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, presented diplomas to Azerbaijani graduates completing their military education in Turkey as part of his official visit to the country.

It was reported that during the visit, the Defense Minister attended the graduation ceremony for the "Joint Staff Management" course at the Turkish National Defense University's Joint War Institute, as well as the "Staff Management" courses held at the Land Forces, Air Force, and Naval Forces institutes.
Addressing the event, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan congratulated the graduates and wished them success in their future service.
Following the symbolic tradition of attaching emblems to the graduation log, the graduates were presented with their certificates. The ceremony concluded with a commemorative photo session.
Military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey is a cornerstone of regional security, characterized by the "One Nation, Two States" principle. The Turkish National Defense University plays a vital role in training high-level military personnel for the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, ensuring that officers are equipped with modern tactical knowledge and interoperability skills in line with NATO standards.
