ADY: Altı ayda sərnişin qatarlarına 21 dəfə daş atılıb

Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) has reported that passenger trains in operation were targeted by stone-throwing incidents 21 times between January and June of this year. These dangerous acts have caused material damage to the rolling stock and posed significant threats to the safety of passengers and railway personnel.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing ADY, law enforcement agencies are actively identifying those responsible for these illegal actions to ensure they face appropriate legal penalties. In cases involving minors, parents or legal guardians are held accountable under the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

"We urge parents to dissuade their children from engaging in such dangerous activities and to educate them on safety protocols near railway infrastructure," the official statement emphasized. Railway safety is a critical component of public transportation infrastructure in Azerbaijan, and such acts of vandalism not only disrupt service schedules but also endanger lives. ADY continues to implement security measures to protect its network, which serves as a vital link for domestic travel across the country.
