The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Azerbaijan has extended its congratulations to the Republic of Slovenia on the occasion of its Statehood Day.
As reported by the Operative Information Center-OMM, the official congratulatory message was shared on the MFA's official "X" (formerly Twitter) account.
"We extend our congratulations to the government and people of Slovenia on the occasion of Statehood Day. Happy Statehood Day, Slovenia!" the post stated.
Slovenia celebrates Statehood Day annually on June 25, commemorating the country's declaration of independence from Yugoslavia in 1991. Azerbaijan and Slovenia maintain diplomatic relations characterized by cooperation in various sectors, including energy, trade, and political dialogue. Both nations continue to work towards strengthening bilateral ties and fostering mutual understanding within the framework of international partnerships.
