Vietnam Prosecutor General visits Baku to strengthen legal ties

A delegation led by the Prosecutor General of Vietnam, Nguyen Huy Tien, has concluded a working visit to Azerbaijan, according to the Prosecutor General's Office.

The visit was reported by the Operative Information Center-OMM. During the trip, the delegation was received by Prime Minister Ali Asadov, with Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev also in attendance. Both sides emphasized the existing friendly relations between the two nations and highlighted significant opportunities for expanding cooperation in economy, trade, investment, and other key sectors.

Furthermore, the delegation met with the Speaker of the Milli Majlis (National Assembly), Sahiba Gafarova. The discussions focused on legislative practices and the exchange of experience regarding cooperation between parliamentary bodies and prosecution authorities.

In accordance with the visit program, the delegation also visited the Constitutional Court of Azerbaijan. Chairman Farhad Abdullayev briefed the guests on the court's operations and the constitutional guarantees for human rights within the Republic of Azerbaijan.

These high-level meetings underscore the growing diplomatic and institutional ties between Baku and Hanoi. Such visits are essential for fostering bilateral legal frameworks and enhancing mutual understanding between the judicial and legislative systems of both countries, reflecting a shared commitment to strengthening international cooperation.
