A red weather warning has been issued across parts of the United Kingdom, including London, due to an impending extreme heatwave expected this week.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing international media reports, authorities have alerted the public to prepare for dangerously high temperatures.

The extreme heat is forecast to impact London, as well as the South, East, and West Midlands regions of England, and Wales. Meteorologists anticipate that temperatures will exceed 37 degrees Celsius throughout the week, with some areas potentially reaching between 38 and 40 degrees Celsius, particularly on Wednesday and Thursday.

In addition to the soaring temperatures, experts have warned of rising humidity levels, which pose significant health risks to the population. The extreme conditions are expected to disrupt daily life and infrastructure, prompting officials to advise citizens to take all necessary precautions against heat-related illnesses.

This event follows a similar heatwave that affected the United Kingdom just last month, during which temperatures in several regions surpassed 35 degrees Celsius. Such extreme weather events are becoming a point of concern for climate experts monitoring the region's changing meteorological patterns.
