A Chinese citizen has been killed in Tehran following airstrikes conducted by the United States and Israel.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the information was released by Mao Ning, the spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The spokesperson further noted that as of March 2, China has successfully evacuated approximately 3,000 of its citizens from Iran. Emphasizing the need for a resolution through dialogue and negotiations, Mao Ning stated: "The most urgent issue is to cease military operations and prevent the conflict from spreading further."
The situation in the region remains volatile as international powers monitor the escalation of military activities. Tehran has been the site of several strategic strikes recently, prompting various nations to initiate emergency evacuation protocols for their diplomatic staff and civilians. China, maintaining significant economic interests in the Middle East, has consistently called for restraint and the adherence to international law to ensure regional stability.
