During the forum, the heads of state emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral economic ties and exploring new investment opportunities. The discussions focused on expanding cooperation in strategic sectors such as energy, transport, logistics, and digital technology, aiming to significantly increase the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Latvia.

Diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Latvia have seen steady growth, with both countries serving as strategic partners in their respective regions. As a member of the European Union, Latvia plays a significant role in Azerbaijan's expanding partnership with European markets, while Azerbaijan remains a key energy supplier and a vital logistics hub in the South Caucasus, connecting East and West through the Middle Corridor.
