Major renovation works on a section of Fazail Bayramov street in the Khatai district of Baku have been completed, ensuring the full restoration of traffic flow.

The Operative Information Center-OMM was informed by the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads that the repairs were strategically managed to minimize disruption. Given the high volume of traffic observed in the area during daylight hours, the agency conducted the primary asphalt paving and construction activities during nighttime hours to avoid restricting movement for residents and commuters.

The renovation project covered a 270-meter stretch of the street, extending from Khatai Avenue to Gulara Gadirbayova street. In total, approximately 5,500 square meters of old asphalt surface were milled and replaced with a new, high-quality asphalt-concrete coating. These improvements are designed to ensure more comfortable and safe movement for vehicles in one of the capital's busy residential and commercial zones.

The modernization of Baku's road infrastructure remains a priority for the government of Azerbaijan. These efforts are part of a broader state program aimed at enhancing the transport network within the capital and its surrounding districts. By upgrading key arterial roads like Fazail Bayramov street, the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads continues to improve urban mobility and reduce traffic congestion in the rapidly growing metropolitan area of Baku.
