Traffic congestion has been reported in three key areas across Baku, according to the latest update from the Intelligent Transport Management Center (ITMC).
The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the ITMC has identified significant delays affecting commuters in the capital of Azerbaijan. The current traffic situation is as follows:
- Baku-Sumgait highway: Heavy traffic is observed in the direction of the "20 Yanvar" metro station.
- Ziya Bunyadov Avenue: Congestion is reported from the intersection with Ahmad Rajabli Street to the intersection with Ataturk Avenue.
- 1st Lake Side Road: Traffic is moving slowly in the direction of Ziya Bunyadov Avenue.
The Intelligent Transport Management Center regularly monitors the capital's road network to optimize traffic flow and reduce congestion. Drivers are advised to plan their routes in advance and consider alternative roads to avoid delays during peak hours, as the city continues to manage the challenges of increasing vehicular traffic in its expanding urban infrastructure.
