Road maintenance work to cause traffic restrictions in Baku

AAYDA: Bakıda iki yolda asfalt örtüyü yenilənəcək

The State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads (AAYDA) has announced that milling and asphalt paving works will be conducted on two major road sections in Baku as part of ongoing infrastructure modernization efforts.

According to information provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM, maintenance operations are scheduled to begin on Huseyn Javid Avenue (from Seyfaddin Dagli Street to Mikayil Mushfig Street). These works will commence today at 10:00 and are expected to conclude by 07:00 on July 3.

Additionally, asphalt renewal works are scheduled for Ayna Sultanova Street (from Huseyn Javid Avenue to Matbuat Avenue). This section will be under maintenance from 08:00 on July 1 until 08:00 on July 6.

The agency has advised drivers that traffic will be partially restricted in these areas during the specified periods. Motorists are encouraged to utilize alternative routes where possible and to strictly adhere to temporary traffic signs and the instructions of personnel managing traffic flow in the zones. The AAYDA expressed its gratitude to residents and drivers for their patience regarding these temporary inconveniences.

The State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads is responsible for the construction, maintenance, and management of the country's road network, playing a critical role in enhancing transport connectivity and urban mobility across Azerbaijan.
