The second round of the Misli Premier League officially commences today with two scheduled matches marking the start of Round XVIII. According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the opening clash of the round will take place in the city of Yevlax.
At the Yevlax City Stadium, local side Karvan-Yevlax is set to host Sumgait. The match, scheduled for 14:30, features two teams at opposite ends of the league table. Sumgait currently occupies fifth place with 27 points, while Karvan-Yevlax continues to struggle this season, sitting at the bottom of the 12-team standings with only 6 points. The day's second fixture will be held at the Gabala City Stadium, where Gabala will face Imishli at 17:00. Imishli enters the match in ninth place with 18 points, while Gabala seeks to improve its standing from 11th place, where it currently sits with 11 points.
