Precipitation continues across the territory of Azerbaijan, with snowfall recorded in high-altitude mountainous regions, according to the latest data from the National Hydrometeorological Service as of 14:00 on March 27. Significant snow cover was observed specifically in the areas of Shahdag and Griz.

Official reports indicate that the volume of rainfall in the capital and surrounding areas has been particularly high. In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, precipitation reached 19 mm, accounting for 81% of the monthly norm. Other regional figures include 14 mm in Aghdam, Goygol, and Neftchala; 13 mm in Zardab, Barda, and Astara; 11 mm in Jabrayil, Beylagan, and Dashkasan; and 8 mm in Shirvan. Lower levels were recorded in Mingachevir and Ganja at 7 mm, while Nakhchivan's Julfa and other northern districts saw between 1 and 3 mm.

The National Hydrometeorological Service, an agency under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, regularly monitors atmospheric conditions to provide early warnings for agriculture and transport sectors in Azerbaijan. Such fluctuations in spring weather are characteristic of the region's diverse climate zones, which range from semi-desert to highland tundra. Authorities advise residents in mountainous districts to remain cautious due to potential slippery road conditions caused by the sudden snowfall.
