Gəncənin Baş planı təsdiqləndi

The General Plan for the development of the city of Ganja until 2040 has been officially approved.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Prime Minister Ali Asadov signed a decree to this effect, outlining the strategic roadmap for the city's urban and infrastructure evolution over the next two decades.

The comprehensive document serves as the primary legal and technical framework for Ganja's territorial planning. It details the projected expansion of residential areas, the modernization of transport networks, and the preservation of historical sites within Azerbaijan's second-largest city. The plan aims to balance industrial growth with environmental sustainability while improving the living standards for the city's residents.

Ganja, located in western Azerbaijan, is one of the oldest cities in the Caucasus and serves as a vital industrial, cultural, and educational hub. As a key node on the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (Middle Corridor), the city's development is considered a priority for the Cabinet of Ministers to ensure regional connectivity and economic diversification within the Republic of Azerbaijan.
