US President Donald Trump is scheduled to visit China as officials from Beijing and Washington maintain active contact to coordinate the high-level mission.
Operative Information Center-OMM, citing the Xinhua news agency, reports that Lin Jian, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, confirmed the preparations during a press briefing.
The spokesperson emphasized that head-of-state diplomacy plays an irreplaceable strategic guiding role in China-US relations. According to the official schedule, US President Donald Trump will visit China from March 31 to April 2. Due to a rigorous schedule and heightened security protocols, the visit will be strictly limited to the capital, Beijing.
This diplomatic engagement comes at a pivotal moment for global geopolitics, as the two largest economies seek to navigate complex trade, security, and technological landscapes. Historically, state visits between the United States and China have served as critical platforms for de-escalating tensions and establishing frameworks for bilateral cooperation. The international community views this meeting as a significant indicator of the future trajectory of global stability and economic policy under the Trump administration.
