The United Arab Emirates (UAE) will maintain its cooperation within the OPEC+ framework, confirming its commitment to the alliance's objectives.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, UAE Minister of Energy Suhail al-Mazrouei addressed the country's position regarding OPEC and OPEC+ during the "Make It in the Emirates" conference. The minister stated that the UAE remains on "good terms" with the organizations and intends to sustain its partnership with member states. He further noted that OPEC maintains a stable and composed stance regarding the ongoing coordination and production decisions.
OPEC+, which comprises the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies led by Russia, plays a critical role in managing global oil supply to ensure market stability. The UAE, as one of the group's leading producers, has frequently balanced its domestic production capacity expansion with the collective agreements of the alliance. This commitment comes amid global efforts to navigate fluctuating energy demands and maintain price equilibrium in international markets.
