The body of a man who drowned in the Caspian Sea off the coast of Shuvalan, located in the Khazar district of Baku, has been recovered.
This information was provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
According to official reports, the victim, Adigozal Ehtibar oglu Mustafayev (born in 1998), drowned in an unsupervised area. Divers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations successfully located and retrieved the body from the water, subsequently handing it over to the appropriate authorities for further procedures.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations frequently conducts search and rescue operations along the Absheron Peninsula's coastline. Authorities consistently urge citizens to swim only in designated areas where lifeguards are present and to adhere strictly to safety warnings, especially during the summer season when the number of visitors to the Caspian coast increases significantly.
