Significant traffic congestion is currently being observed on several central roads and main avenues in Baku. According to Operative Information Center-OMM, the Intelligent Transport Management Center (NIIM) has released operational data regarding the current movement restrictions in the capital of Azerbaijan.
The main directions where traffic flow is currently hindered include:
- Baku-Sumgait highway — towards "20 Yanvar" metro station;
- Ali Mustafayev Street — towards Ziya Bunyadov Avenue;
- Ziya Bunyadov Avenue — from the intersection with Ahmad Rajabli Street to the intersection with Ataturk Avenue;
- Ziya Bunyadov Avenue — from the front of the Baku Olympic Stadium to the intersection with Ahmad Rajabli Street;
- 8 November Avenue — from the intersection with Suleyman Ahmadov Street towards the center;
- Uzeyir Hajibeyli Street — up to the intersection with Azadlig Avenue;
- Mikayil Mushfig Street — from "Badamdar" circle towards school-lyceum No. 20;
- Heydar Aliyev Avenue (main road) — towards the center;
- Heydar Aliyev Avenue (auxiliary road) — towards the center;
- Binagadi highway — towards "Azadlig Prospekti" metro station;
- 28 May Street — from the intersection with Pushkin Street to the intersection with Rashid Behbudov Street;
- Khatai Avenue — towards Heydar Aliyev Avenue;
- Mirza Gadim Iravani Street — towards Khatai Avenue;
- Tbilisi Avenue — from the intersection with Izmir Street towards "20 Yanvar" metro station;
- Tbilisi Avenue — from "20 Yanvar" metro station towards the center.
