A new appointment has been made at the Administration of the Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB) in Azerbaijan.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, Sahib Azer oglu Gulmammadov has been appointed as the head of the TABIB secretariat. The relevant order was signed by the Executive Director of TABIB, Anar Bayramov.
Prior to this role, Gulmammadov served as the assistant to the Chairman of the Board of the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population. It is noteworthy that in 2023, Gulmammadov also served as an assistant to Anar Bayramov during the latter's tenure as the head of the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency.
TABIB was established in Azerbaijan to oversee the management of public medical institutions and to ensure the effective implementation of mandatory health insurance across the country. The agency plays a critical role in the ongoing reforms of the national healthcare system, focusing on improving the quality of medical services and enhancing administrative efficiency within regional medical divisions. These structural appointments are aimed at strengthening the management capacity of the healthcare sector in line with national development goals.
