Temperatures in Baku are expected to reach 21°C, while regional areas may see highs of 23°C on April 18, according to the latest weather forecasts.
The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the National Hydrometeorological Service has released the upcoming weather outlook for the capital and the regions of Azerbaijan. In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, weather conditions are expected to be changeably cloudy and occasionally overcast, but primarily rainless. A mild south-west wind will prevail throughout the day.
The temperature in the capital will range from 10-13°C at night to 16-21°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure is projected to drop from 765 mm Hg to 758 mm Hg, with relative humidity staying between 65-70%. In the regions of Azerbaijan, the weather is expected to be mostly dry; however, short-term rain, lightning, and hail are possible in some western districts during the evening hours. Fog may occur in mountainous areas during the night and morning, while a moderate east wind is expected to strengthen occasionally in eastern regions.
Regional temperatures are forecasted at 8-11°C at night and 18-23°C during the day. In the mountainous areas, temperatures will fluctuate between 0-5°C at night and 10-15°C during the day, reaching up to 18°C in certain locations. These seasonal fluctuations are characteristic of the spring climate in Azerbaijan, where the transition from maritime to continental air masses often results in varied conditions across the country's diverse topography.
