On July 24, Azerbaijan is expected to experience a significant rise in temperatures, with highs reaching up to 39°C, according to the National Hydrometeorological Service.

Temperatures in the capital are forecasted to range between 23-25°C at night and 33-38°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure is expected to be slightly below normal at 753 mm Hg, with relative humidity levels fluctuating between 75-80% at night and 45-50% during the day.

Across the regions of Azerbaijan, the weather is expected to remain largely dry. However, meteorologists have noted a possibility of short-term rain, thunderstorms, and hail in some mountainous areas during the day, with occasional fog expected in higher elevations. Moderate easterly winds are anticipated.

Temperature readings in the regions are expected to reach 22-27°C at night and 35-39°C during the day, while mountainous areas will see cooler temperatures, ranging from 15-20°C at night to 25-30°C during the day.

Background: High-temperature weather patterns are common in Azerbaijan during the summer months, particularly in the Absheron Peninsula and the Aran economic region. The National Hydrometeorological Service regularly issues such bulletins to advise citizens on safety measures during periods of extreme heat, including avoiding prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and maintaining adequate hydration.
