In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, the weather is expected to remain largely dry. A north-westerly wind, which may strengthen at times, is forecast to shift to a moderate north-easterly breeze in the second half of the day. Nighttime temperatures are expected to range between 22-25°C, while daytime highs will reach 29-33°C. Atmospheric pressure is projected to be 759 mm Hg, with relative humidity levels fluctuating between 70-75% at night and 50-60% during the day.
Across other regions of Azerbaijan, the weather is also expected to be predominantly dry, though some mountainous areas may experience intermittent fog. A westerly wind is expected to intensify in certain locations. Daytime temperatures in these regions are forecast to range between 35-39°C, with some areas potentially reaching 41°C. In mountainous zones, temperatures will be cooler, ranging from 15-20°C at night to 25-30°C during the day.
Extreme heatwaves are a recurring climatic feature during the summer months in Azerbaijan, particularly in the low-lying regions and the capital, Baku.
