The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced a new large-scale attack targeting Ukraine's military logistics infrastructure.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the strikes targeted ports, military equipment repair facilities, and naval vessels supporting the operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The ministry stated that a motor vehicle assembly plant and a terminal used for repairing military equipment located in the port of Chornomorsk were struck. Additionally, four cargo ships anchored in ports south of Odesa, as well as in Mykolaiv and Yuzhny, were reported damaged.
According to the ministry, intensive drone attacks were also recorded against Russian territories overnight. Russian air defense systems reportedly destroyed approximately 320 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
It was noted that a "Wildberries" warehouse located in the Krasny Bor settlement of the Leningrad region was also subjected to a drone attack. According to a statement from the RWB company, the fire at the warehouse was localized shortly after, and according to preliminary information, there were no casualties.
Furthermore, Rodion Miroshnik, Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry, told the TASS agency that 49 civilians, including 4 children, have been killed due to Ukrainian strikes over the past week. Miroshnik added that Ukrainian operators have begun targeting public transport, with more than 30 buses coming under attack since the beginning of the summer season.
The ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues to escalate, with both sides frequently reporting attacks on critical infrastructure and military assets. These developments underscore the persistent intensity of the hostilities, which have significantly impacted logistics and civilian safety in the region since the conflict's onset.
