Rubio: ABŞ-ın təklifinə İrandan bu gün cavab gözlənilir

The United States is awaiting a formal response from Iran regarding a proposal aimed at ending ongoing military conflicts, according to senior officials in Washington.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio informed journalists that the administration expects a reaction from Tehran within the day. "We are expecting a response from Iran today. We haven't received it yet. I hope it will be a serious proposal. I truly hope so," Rubio stated during a press briefing.

Addressing broader geopolitical concerns, Secretary of State Rubio also expressed reservations regarding certain NATO allies. "One of the primary reasons for the US presence in NATO is to have forces stationed in Europe with the capability to redirect them to other potential crisis zones. Regarding some NATO members, this is no longer the case. This is a problem that needs to be investigated," he added.

The diplomatic initiative comes at a pivotal time as US President Donald Trump's administration seeks to stabilize regional security and redefine American strategic commitments abroad. Marco Rubio, serving as the top US diplomat, has consistently emphasized the need for accountability among international partners and a pragmatic approach to de-escalating tensions in the Middle East. The outcome of this proposal is seen as a significant indicator of the future trajectory of US-Iran relations under the current administration.
