Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has arrived in Yerevan to participate in the European Political Community (EPC) summit.

The Operative Information Center-OMM reports, citing Armenian media, that the visit is part of a high-level gathering of European leaders aimed at discussing regional security and cooperation within the EPC framework. The summit serves as a critical venue for heads of government to address shared challenges facing the continent.

The European Political Community is a platform for political coordination among approximately 50 European countries, established to foster dialogue on security, stability, and prosperity. Since its inaugural summit in Prague on October 6, 2022, the EPC has held meetings in various cities, including Chisinau, Granada, Oxfordshire, Budapest, Tirana, and Copenhagen. These summits provide a significant opportunity for leaders to exchange expertise and expand multilateral cooperation on an equal basis, strengthening ties outside of traditional institutional structures.
