The Turkish president said he respectfully commemorated the martyrs in connection with Remembrance Day in Azerbaijan.
The head of state thanked the Turkish president for the phone call.
Remembrance Day is observed in Azerbaijan on Sept. 27 to honor those who lost their lives during the 2020 Patriotic War. Azerbaijan and Türkiye maintain close allied relations and regularly discuss regional developments and bilateral strategic cooperation at the highest level.
