Weather forecast for Baku and Absheron on April 15

Intermittent rain is expected in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula on April 15, according to the latest weather update. The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the National Hydrometeorological Service has issued a forecast indicating that precipitation may become briefly intensive in certain parts of the peninsula.

The rain is expected to subside during the second half of the day. A mild north-west wind will shift to a south-east wind in the afternoon. Temperatures in the capital are projected to range between 8-10°C at night and 13-16°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will stand at 767 mm Hg, with relative humidity reaching 75-85%.

Weather conditions across Azerbaijan's regions

In the regions of Azerbaijan, intermittent rain is forecast for several areas, while snow is expected in mountainous territories. Meteorologists warn of lightning and intensive precipitation in specific locations. However, the rain is expected to gradually cease starting from the western regions in the morning hours. Fog may also be observed in some areas during the early part of the day.

Temperatures in the lowlands will fluctuate between 6-9°C at night and 15-20°C during the day. In the mountain ranges, temperatures are expected to drop to between 3°C frost and 2°C heat at night, reaching 7-12°C during the day. These weather patterns are typical for the spring season in Azerbaijan, where the transition from the Caucasus mountain climate to the semi-arid zones often results in rapid shifts in humidity and localized precipitation.
