Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has met with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani during his official visit to Baghdad.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the meeting held on Wednesday evening highlighted the significance of the deep-rooted historical and geographical ties that unite Iran and Iraq.
Ghalibaf emphasized the substantial potential for expanding cooperation between the two nations. According to the Speaker, the development of relations between Tehran and Baghdad creates significant opportunities not only for bilateral ties but also for strengthening regional cooperation across the Islamic and Arab worlds.
