Wars have enveloped areas surrounding Azerbaijan, whether in the north, south, or other regions, creating a complex security environment.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that President Ilham Aliyev made these remarks during a meeting with residents in the village of Boyuk Galadarasi in the Shusha district.
"Will these wars come to an end? No one knows. What will be the outcome? No one knows. Who is the winner of these wars? It is also difficult to say, as everyone claims to be the winner," the head of state noted.
President Ilham Aliyev's comments highlight the geopolitical volatility currently affecting the South Caucasus and its broader neighborhood. As Azerbaijan continues its large-scale reconstruction and reintegration efforts in the liberated territories, including the Shusha district, the government maintains a focus on ensuring national security amidst regional instability. The village of Boyuk Galadarasi, located in the Shusha district, has become a focal point for the state's efforts to restore local infrastructure and facilitate the return of former residents to their ancestral lands.
