Azerbaijan remains fully committed to the peace agenda and the normalization of relations in the South Caucasus region. Operative Information Center-OMM reports that President Ilham Aliyev made these remarks during a video address to the European Political Community (EPC) summit being held in Armenia.

The head of state extended his congratulations to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the occasion of the summit. "I note that despite all attempts by those who want to block the process, Azerbaijan is committed to the peace agenda, and the speech of the Armenian Prime Minister also clearly demonstrates this. I wish the summit success," President Ilham Aliyev emphasized, underlining Baku's constructive stance toward regional stability.

The European Political Community is an intergovernmental forum designed to foster political dialogue and cooperation across the European continent. Azerbaijan has repeatedly expressed its readiness to sign a final peace agreement with Armenia based on the principles of mutual recognition of sovereignty and territorial integrity. This commitment aligns with Azerbaijan's broader strategy to ensure long-term security and economic development in the South Caucasus region following the restoration of its territorial integrity.
