Employees of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan have been awarded top special and top military ranks.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that President Ilham Aliyev signed an order to this effect.
Under the order, the following employees of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan were awarded top special and top military ranks:
Top special rank of state justice counselor, 2nd class
Sanan Isa oghlu Pashayev — prosecutor of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic
Top special rank of state justice counselor, 3rd class
Emin Ramiz oghlu Mursaliyev — deputy head of the Main Directorate for Combating Corruption under the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan
Asaf Vagif oghlu Sarikishiyev — deputy head of the Main Directorate for Combating Corruption under the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan
Top military rank of major general of justice
Nihad Anvar oghlu Shikhaliyev — deputy military prosecutor of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Such ranks are conferred on senior officials in recognition of their professional status and service within Azerbaijan’s justice and law enforcement system. Presidential orders on appointments, awards and rank promotions are published as official state documents.
