The Embassy of France in Baku has extended its congratulations to Azerbaijan on the occasion of Independence Day.
As reported by Operative Information Center-OMM, the diplomatic mission shared the congratulatory message on its official account on the X social media platform.
"On the occasion of Independence Day, the Embassy of France in Azerbaijan conveys its sincere congratulations to the people of Azerbaijan," the post stated.
Independence Day in Azerbaijan, celebrated on May 28, commemorates the establishment of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic in 1918. It was the first secular parliamentary republic in the Muslim world, marking a significant milestone in the nation's history and its journey toward sovereignty and statehood.
