While Pahlavi expressed approval of Europe's recent considerations regarding the designation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a prohibited entity, he emphasized that such measures are insufficient.

This follows Pahlavi's previous statements on February 28, where he voiced support for Israeli and US military operations in Iran, characterizing them as "humanitarian intervention."
The ongoing tensions come amid a significant shift in global geopolitics following the inauguration of US President Donald Trump in January 2025. The current US administration has signaled a more assertive stance regarding Middle Eastern security and Iranian influence.
