Pakistan ABŞ-İran danışıqlarında konstruktivliyi vacib sayır

Pakistan's Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, has emphasized that a constructive approach from both parties is of paramount importance ahead of the upcoming negotiations between the United States and Iran.

According to Operative Information Center-OMM, the diplomat made these remarks during an interview with US media. Commenting on the meeting scheduled for April 11 in Islamabad, he stressed: "I believe the most important point is a constructive spirit on both sides. If they were not convinced of the necessity and possibility of these talks, they would not have agreed to them."

The Ambassador noted that the primary role of a mediator is to bring the parties to the negotiating table and allow them to determine what satisfies their interests. Stating that Pakistan feels the support of the international community in its mediation efforts, the diplomat added: "Yesterday alone, our leadership received more than 50 calls. Everyone is closely monitoring the situation and hoping for a result." According to foreign media reports, delegations from Iran and the United States, led by US President Donald Trump's administration representatives, have already arrived in Islamabad for the discussions.

Pakistan has historically maintained a delicate balancing act in its relations with both Washington and Tehran, often positioning itself as a regional facilitator to prevent escalation in the Middle East. The choice of Islamabad as a venue underscores Pakistan's strategic diplomatic role and its commitment to regional stability. These talks are viewed by international observers as a critical step toward addressing long-standing tensions regarding nuclear policy and regional security frameworks.
