One Palestinian was killed and seven others were wounded on Sunday in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip, according to medical sources cited by Anadolu Agency, amid reported daily violations of a ceasefire that has been in place since October 2025.
Medical sources identified the person killed as 28-year-old Uday Adli al-Assar. He died in an Israeli drone strike targeting the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
Palestinians injured in separate strikes
Two Palestinians were wounded, one critically, when an Israeli drone shelled a gathering near the White Mosque in the Al-Shati refugee camp west of Gaza City, the sources said.
In another incident, five Palestinians were injured when an Israeli drone struck near tents sheltering displaced people close to the Sheikh Radwan neighbourhood market in northern Gaza City.
Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli forces also opened heavy fire towards western and eastern parts of Gaza City, areas west of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza, and locations east of Khan Younis and northwest of Rafah in the south.
Ceasefire agreement
The latest attacks came amid continuing reported violations of the ceasefire, which took effect on October 10, 2025.
The truce was intended to end Israel’s war in Gaza, which has killed nearly 74,000 Palestinians and wounded more than 175,000 since October 2023, according to the report.
