The current situation on the country's highways has been announced.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the National Hydrometeorological Service has released a weather advisory regarding road conditions.
On May 31, during the night and morning hours, foggy weather conditions are expected in some mountainous and foothill areas. Consequently, visibility on major highways is projected to be reduced to between 500 and 1,000 meters, potentially impacting traffic safety.
The National Hydrometeorological Service regularly monitors meteorological changes across Azerbaijan to ensure public safety. Drivers are advised to exercise caution and maintain appropriate speed limits when traveling through regions where visibility may be compromised by adverse weather conditions.
