During recent operations conducted in Baku and various regions of Azerbaijan, law enforcement officers discovered and confiscated 8 automatic weapons, 2 rifles, 2 ammunition magazines, and 548 cartridges of various calibers. These items were being held illegally.
This information was provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).
In addition to the weapons seizure, authorities identified 34 cases related to drug trafficking and 9 separate incidents involving the discovery and confiscation of illegally held ammunition and firearms. The Ministry of Internal Affairs continues to conduct regular raids across the country to ensure public safety and maintain the rule of law.
