Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has stated that his country does not seek an escalation of conflict with the United States, while emphasizing that Tehran remains committed to defending its territorial integrity and national interests using all available means.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports, citing international media, that the Iranian leader clarified his administration's position amid ongoing regional geopolitical friction.
"We will defend our territorial integrity with all our strength. However, we do not want to expand the war or see it continue," Pezeshkian emphasized during his address.
Beyond foreign policy, the President highlighted the critical importance of developing Iran's healthcare system. Pezeshkian argued that a society with a robust healthcare infrastructure is more resilient against various threats and systemic risks.
"Ensuring equal access to medical services for all citizens is one of the most essential conditions for effective governance and sustainable development of the country," he noted.
