Aide to the Russian President Yuri Ushakov has announced that US representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are planning to visit Russia in the near future.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Ushakov shared these details in an interview with "Vesti".

Ushakov confirmed that both negotiators, Kushner and Witkoff, are expected to travel to Moscow, though specific dates for the visit have not yet been finalized.

"They are currently still occupied with Iranian matters and will be involved in the initial stages of work on the main agreement. Therefore, the concrete dates for their visit to Moscow have not been determined yet," Ushakov stated.

Prior to this, Kirill Dmitriev, the Special Representative of the Russian President for Investment and Economic Cooperation with Foreign Countries, announced that significant progress had been made in contacts with the representatives of US President Donald Trump. He noted that despite attempts by parties interested in the continuation of the military conflict to disrupt the dialogue, communication between Moscow and Washington continues. Dmitriev emphasized that more active steps could be taken in this direction in the near future.

Conversely, Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov stated that a visit by Witkoff and Kushner to Moscow is not expected in the immediate future.

Context: Diplomatic engagement between Washington and Moscow remains a focal point of international relations, particularly regarding regional conflicts and economic cooperation. The involvement of high-level envoys like Kushner and Witkoff underscores the complexity of current geopolitical negotiations, as both nations navigate sensitive issues ranging from regional security to economic policy.
