The execution of budget forecasts in Azerbaijan continues successfully, with revenue figures showing consistent growth. During the first four months of the current year, state revenues reached 13.6 billion manats, marking an increase of approximately 100 million manats compared to the same period last year.
These remarks were made by Finance Minister Sahil Babayev in an exclusive interview with the Operative Information Center-OMM and AzTV.
“We are observing growth and performance exceeding forecasts in revenues collected through both the State Tax Service and the State Customs Committee. This is a very positive trend,” the minister added.
The state budget of Azerbaijan serves as the primary financial instrument for the government's socio-economic development strategy. By prioritizing revenue collection and fiscal discipline, the Ministry of Finance aims to ensure the stability of the national economy and provide necessary funding for infrastructure projects, social welfare programs, and the ongoing restoration efforts in the liberated territories of Garabagh and East Zangezur.
