The Milli Majlis (National Assembly) has congratulated President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva on the occasion of the upcoming Novruz and Ramadan holidays.
According to Operative Information Center-OMM, the Speaker of the Milli Majlis (National Assembly), Sahiba Gafarova, made a special proposal during today's parliamentary session. She proposed addressing congratulatory letters to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva in honor of the Novruz and Ramadan holidays.
The deputies attending the session unanimously expressed their support for the Speaker's proposal, emphasizing the significance of these holidays in the national and spiritual life of the country.
Novruz, which marks the arrival of spring, is one of the most cherished traditional holidays in Azerbaijan, symbolizing renewal and the awakening of nature.
