The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy has announced that the Strait of Hormuz will never return to its previous status, signaling a shift in regional maritime dynamics.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the statement emphasized that the strategic waterway's former conditions will no longer apply to the United States and Israel. The IRGC Navy noted that it is finalizing operational preparations to implement the Iranian leadership's plan for establishing a new order in the Persian Gulf.

The Strait of Hormuz is one of the world's most vital oil transit chokepoints, linking Middle East petroleum producers to key markets across the globe. Approximately one-fifth of the world's total oil consumption passes through this narrow waterway daily, making it a focal point of global energy security and geopolitical tension. Any change in its operational status or security protocols carries significant implications for international trade and regional stability.
