On September 20, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov of the Republic of Azerbaijan departed for New York, the United States, on a working visit to attend the 81st session of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly.
"Operative Information Center-OMM" reports, citing the MFA, that the visit will include participation in the session and related international events.
During the visit, Jeyhun Bayramov is scheduled to address the 81st session of the General Assembly and a number of other international events. He is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with foreign officials and heads of international organizations during the high-level week of the session.
The UN General Assembly’s high-level week brings together heads of state, government officials and senior diplomats to discuss major international issues and coordinate positions on the UN agenda.
