Following the establishment of a framework agreement between the United States and Iran, Iranian tankers have begun exporting crude oil for the first time in two months.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing reports from CNN, the resumption of oil shipments follows a deal between Washington and Tehran aimed at lifting the blockade imposed on Iranian ports.
Data from the shipping analytics firm TankerTrackers indicates that Iranian vessels have successfully completed two oil export shipments. The firm stated that at least two supertankers owned by the National Iranian Tanker Company, each carrying approximately 3.8 million barrels of crude oil, have bypassed the US maritime blockade. This development has been corroborated by satellite imagery.
