Iran has launched a missile strike against the Harir military base, used by US forces in the Kurdistan region of Iraq.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) released a statement confirming the operation. According to the official report, five missiles were fired at the military installation.
The Harir airbase, located in northern Iraq, serves as a critical strategic hub for international coalition forces. This latest escalation comes amid heightened geopolitical friction in the Middle East, as regional powers continue to contest military presence in the area. Such incidents frequently impact the broader security landscape, prompting increased vigilance across diplomatic and military channels in neighboring countries, including Azerbaijan.
