İran ətrafında münaqişə bitməyib: Rusiya XİN-dən yeni açıqlama

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has stated that the conflict surrounding Iran is far from over, highlighting ongoing regional tensions.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Mikael Agasandyan, Director of the First Department for CIS countries at the Russian MFA, made these remarks during an international scientific and practical conference.

Agasandyan commented on the policies of US President Donald Trump's administration and Israel toward Iran, characterizing the current situation as a phase where a "new balance has not yet formed." He described the ongoing developments as a complex and contradictory period within the broader development of a multipolar international system. The diplomat emphasized that despite the West's historically dominant position, the capabilities of other global actors are increasing, and stabilizing the situation will require significant time. He noted that this process could be accelerated by increasing coordination between countries to build a more equitable system of international relations.

Tensions in the Middle East, particularly involving Iran, remain a focal point of global diplomacy and regional security. Russia, maintaining strategic interests in the region, frequently advocates for a multipolar approach to security architectures, often contrasting its position with Western-led initiatives. As a neighbor to both Russia and Iran, Azerbaijan closely monitors these geopolitical shifts, maintaining a balanced foreign policy aimed at ensuring regional stability and the protection of its national interests in the South Caucasus and beyond.
