The Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has deported 55 foreign nationals from the country following a series of enforcement operations conducted in recent days.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, these measures were carried out in close coordination with other relevant state agencies within the country.
The Migration Department reported that the individuals expelled include citizens from Turkey, India, Russia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Somalia, Armenia, Sudan, Thailand, Egypt, Iraq, and several other nations. Authorities noted that, in accordance with existing legislation, all deported individuals have been issued a ban on re-entering Georgia.
Georgia has recently intensified its efforts to regulate migration flows and ensure compliance with national immigration laws. These enforcement actions are part of a broader strategy by the Georgian government to monitor foreign residents and maintain public order, often involving collaboration between border control and internal security services to address unauthorized stays or visa violations.
