There are currently no problems or restrictions regarding the passage of heavy goods vehicles across the Azerbaijan-Iran border, officials confirmed today.
The Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA), under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, told Operative Information Center-OMM that cargo movement remains stable. The agency noted that regular contact is being maintained with carriers and the situation is under full control. "If any changes occur, the public will be informed accordingly," the statement emphasized.
The clarification comes as Israel launched strikes against Iran to neutralize perceived threats, leading to a state of emergency across Israel. Due to the escalating security situation in the Middle East, several countries in the region have closed their airspace as a precautionary measure.
