The number of people killed in the Gaza Strip as a result of Israeli military operations since October 2023 has reached 72,312, according to the latest reports.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports, citing international media outlets, that the humanitarian situation in the region remains critical as casualty figures continue to climb.
Medical officials in Gaza stated that within the last 24 hours alone, the bodies of 10 deceased individuals and 44 wounded persons were brought to local hospitals. Since the ceasefire reportedly took effect on October 10, 2025, the ongoing violence has resulted in 733 deaths and 2,034 injuries, while 759 bodies have been recovered from beneath the debris of destroyed buildings.
The total number of injured individuals since the start of the conflict in October 2023 has now risen to 172,134. Local authorities emphasize that thousands of victims remain trapped under the rubble of collapsed infrastructure, suggesting that the final death toll may be significantly higher than currently recorded.
