Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Feridun Sinirlioglu, Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), on the sidelines of the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2026) held in Gdansk, Poland.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the minister shared details of the meeting on his official "X" account.
During the discussions, the parties reviewed the current state and future prospects of Azerbaijan-OSCE cooperation. Minister Bayramov emphasized the significance of the ongoing regional developments in the South Caucasus, highlighting the historic opportunity to ensure sustainable peace and stability in the region.
"We exchanged views on the regional situation in the South Caucasus, the historic opportunity for ensuring sustainable peace and stability, and Azerbaijan's efforts in promoting a new regional agenda based on the principles of respect for sovereignty, territorial integrity, and international law. We reaffirmed our readiness to continue constructive cooperation with the OSCE on issues of mutual interest," the minister stated.
The OSCE, as the world's largest regional security organization, plays a crucial role in conflict prevention and crisis management. Azerbaijan's engagement with the organization remains a key component of its foreign policy, particularly as the country continues to advocate for a post-conflict regional order based on international law and the normalization of relations in the South Caucasus.
